Tecnopolo Bologna CNR, through the laboratories MISTER Smart Innovation and Proambiente, looks to the future and actively participates in the Italian Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The Plan, with a total budget of €191.5 billion, is divided into 6 Missions, consistent with the 6 pillars of the Next Generation EU: Education and Research, Inclusion and Cohesion, Digital Transition, Ecological Transition, Infrastructure and Transport, Health.
MISTER and Proambiente responded to the call for the submission of Proposals for the creation and strengthening of “ecosystems of innovation”, establishing “territorial leaders of R&D (Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 1.5) with the proposal “Ecosystem for Sustainable Transition in Emilia Romagna“. The proposal, led by the University of Bologna, brings together key players at the regional level with the aim of strengthening Emilia-Romagna’s global leadership in applied research and ensuring sustainable, resilient and people-centred industrial development through the implementation of green and digital transitions.
CNR is a leader of Spoke 1 “Materials for sustainability and ecological transition” and partner of the other Spokes, while the laboratories of the Tecnopolo Bologna CNR, MISTER and Proambiente, are affiliated respectively to Spoke 1 and 3 (“Green manufacturing for a sustainable economy“) and Spoke 4 “Smart mobility, housing and energy solutions for a carbon-neutral society” and Spoke 5 “Circular economy and blue economy“.
MISTER, Proambiente and all the partners continue to ensure that the efforts of collaboration and synergy undertaken in these phases are only the beginning of a much broader path of development and constant growth and innovation for the future.
