04 Aug “NOTRE”: a project under the banner of innovation in the elderly care sector
MISTER participated in the first stakeholder meeting of the project “NOTRE – Novel methods improving production innovation potential with examples of senior care-related solutions.”
The NOTRE project, with the collaboration of CNA Emilia-Romagna, aims to develop novel methods for improving production innovation potential, focusing on senior care-related solutions. A topic of great relevance and topicality, considering the aging of the population and the need to find smart solutions to improve the quality of life of the elderly.
During the meeting, stakeholders had the opportunity to participate in interesting talks by important figures in the field. Unioncamere and the Emilia-Romagna Region opened the speeches, providing an overview of current initiatives to promote innovation and progress in the elderly care sector.
Afterwards, it was the turn of each stakeholder to share their experience and testimony through brief interventions. This moment allowed MISTER to present their innovative ideas and solutions, highlighting the importance of integrating technology and elderly care.
A significant moment of the meeting was the contribution of Dr. Francesco Santoro, researcher at MISTER Smart Innovation, managing entity of the Bologna CNR Technopole. Dr. Santoro addressed the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and its key role in the development of innovative solutions for society, the environment and the economy. He emphasized how AI, often viewed with fear and skepticism, is actually a powerful and positive tool for progress, including innovation in elder care. His presentation stimulated a constructive debate among stakeholders and provided additional insights for the future of the NOTRE project.
As we look to the future, we are committed to working diligently with other stakeholders to develop cutting-edge solutions that can positively change the way we approach elder care. Our participation in the NOTRE project is another step in pursuing our mission to improve people’s lives through innovation and technology.
