02 Nov Air quality in schools: guidelines developed in collaboration with Proambiente
The QAI – Indoor Air Quality Working Group of Clust-ER Greentech, in collaboration with Clust-ER Build, has produced a document on the topic of Air Quality in Schools.
The strategic objective is to provide informative, practical, and comprehensive support to all stakeholders concerned with well-being, energy efficiency, and air quality in schools.
Proambiente was a promoter and partner in the action developed within the QAI Working Group, with the contribution of colleagues Enrico Cozzani (Proambiente Researcher) and Stefano Zampolli (CNR-IMM Researcher).
WHAT THE DOCUMENT CONTAINS:
A set of methodologies and best practices in terms of:
– building (low-emitting materials, energy-efficient forced mechanical ventilation systems),
– monitoring (low-cost systems for indoor and outdoor air quality assessment, big data and artificial intelligence),
– remediation (systems for air filtration and abatement of pollutants that produce health benefits for occupants).
WHO IT IS AIMED AT:
Facility managers, school building managers (municipalities, provinces, managers) and specialists involved in the assessment of indoor air quality in the design, construction, operation and use phases of buildings.
