The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biophotomics.eu\/\"><strong>Biophotomics<\/strong><\/a> project, funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/fesr.regione.emilia-romagna.it\/erdf\">POR-FESR 2014-2020<\/a> of Emilia-Romagna Region, aims at the development of a <strong>portable biophotonic device<\/strong>, equipped with software for the analysis of hyperspectral imaging obtained by dark-field microscopy. The project intends to respond to the need for non-invasive, low-cost and easy-to-access and use blood analysis for fragile patients e.g., patients with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Another goal of the project is the development of a new method of biophotonic <strong>analysis of the fatty acids in the cell membrane<\/strong>, as an innovative indicator of the cell membrane health.<\/p>\n<p>To get an overview of the project and the technologies applied, including artificial intelligence and the development of a prototype, take part in the online workshop <strong>on Tuesday 5 April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will be held by <strong>researchers<\/strong> coming from project partner institutions:<strong> regional laboratories<\/strong> for technology transfer (<a href=\"https:\/\/ltta.tecnopoloferrara.it\/home.php?lang=ENG\">LTTA Laboratory<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consorzioproambiente.it\/en\/\">PROAMBIENTE<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/centri.unibo.it\/tecnologie-salute\/it\">University of Bologna CIRI &#8211; Life Sciences<\/a>), an <strong>Innovation Center<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cieffeerre.it\/\">Consorzio Futuro in Ricerca<\/a>) and three <strong>private companies<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lipinutragen.it\/en\/\">Lipinutragen<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silfradent.com\/en\/\">Silfradent<\/a>, <a href=\"mailto:gulladaneiele@alice.it\">Hyperspectral Imaging<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>More information is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biophotomics.eu\/locandina-workshop\/\"><strong>event website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Microscopic analysis of blood samples requires the use of benchtop equipment, and therefore patients are obliged to visit specialized facilities.
