19 Oct Virtual Tour: the building of the Technopole Bologna CNR

MISTER Smart Innovation, managing entity of Tecnopolo Bologna CNR, collaborated with its partner Music Academy, International Academy of Creative Arts, in the implementation of the training course for “3D Modeling Technician Specialized In Motion/Performance Capture In Live Events, Performance & Exhibition VR (IFTS 2021),” funded under the European Social Fund Plus 2021-2027 Program of the Emilia-Romagna Region.

MISTER, in addition to contributing to the training in the design and delivery phase of the course, welcomed two participants, Leonardo Miti and Matteo Bevilacqua, to carry out the internship under the program.

As project work, Leonardo and Matteo created the Virtual Tour of the CNR Technopole building, home of MISTER and Proambiente, industrial research laboratories accredited to the Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network.

It is possible to experience the Virtual Reality of the tour through the use of the VR visor Meta Quest 2, with which one can explore the environments of the building and interact with some elements. Blender software was used to model the environments, while Unreal Engine was used to manage the interactions.
