The attractiveness of the Tecnopolo: a bridge for the promotion of Innovation and International Technological Cooperation

In the last months, Tecnopolo Bologna CNR has received visits from international organizations, committees and delegations, reporting an interest that goes beyond metropolitan and regional borders. This phenomenon highlights the attractiveness of the Tecnopolo and its network on a global scale.

 

Technological cooperation between Italy and Brazil

On the 29th of May a delegation coming from different regions of Brazil and coordinated by the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Sao Paolo has arrived at the Tecnopolo CNR. The delegation was composed by both senators and representatives of international multinational companies, like Philip Morris. The visit was motivated by the previous relationships and collaborations between the two Countries.

The mission focused on a technological cooperation, during which the different functions and activities of the Tecnopolo were showed. In addition, potential bilateral initiatives were discussed.

 

Exchange of experiences with Turkey for the implementation of the smart specialization strategy (S3)

On the 10th of June a delegation of the Turkish government along with experts coming from different regions has Benn hosted in Emilia-Romagna for a study visit dedicated to the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3). Tecnopolo CNR was one of the places in the program of the visit, representing an important regional project. The event offered an important opportunity to closely examine the implementation of european politics in diverse local contexts, with the active participation of representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Technology (MoIT) and from regional development agencies. The visit aimed to enhance the ability for the development and and implementation of S3 strategies in different Turkey’s regions, promoting a fruitful exchange of practical knowledge and experiences in the field of innovation and technology.

 

 

Artificial intelligence takes China into the Tecnopolo’s Labs

Last June 18, a delegation arrived; it was mainly made up of corporate representatives who were deeply interested in understanding how artificial intelligence can influence perception. This highlights the interest in devoting part of the activity of the Tecnopolo laboratories, MISTER and Proambiente, to topics such as AI.

 

These visits highlife the central role of the Tecnopolo, not only as a hub of scientific and technological excellence, but also as an international collaborations promoter. Its management model and well-established network make it an example of global innovation, stimulating a continuous knowledge and experiences exchange in between nations.
